“I fell for the Land of Nod initially because of the delightful selection of fun nursery bedding, which is not inexpensive, but certainly not over-the-top in price considering what's out there. In fact, the quality of their merchandise in general, including the nursery furniture is excellent, and seems a bit more high end and less mass-produced than Pottery Barn Baby/Kids. I also love that they now carry much more cool gear in their stores (Baby Bjorn, Bugaboo, Skip Hop, etc.), which will make it more appealing for someone interested in creating a baby registry there. It's also a number one spot for unique gifts - lots of great books, music, and nifty old-school (read wood, not plastic) toys for tots of all ages. Customer service is friendly and fine.
