“Alibaba.com , a China based company, is online meeting place of suppliers and buyers. This site is an effective site to source Chinese suppliers for different products & services. And not just Chinese, I found they are good for sourcing products from whole of Asia too. I found this sites strength lies in having a wide database of suppliers specially from Far East countries. However, at the same, their trade board, i.e.. Buy & Sell boards, attract buyers & sellers from all over the world. Now, let me tell you, I came to this conclusion by not just looking at their trade boards,but I have used them too. They are very effective and you get serious buyers & sellers for your products. Just read this, there are 27 industry categories and 700 product sub-categories !!!!! It ranges from agriculture to fashion to home supplies to excess stocks !!!
