About Tilly's

The company began in 1982 when they opened it's first store in Los Alamitos, California. Originally, it was known as 'World of Jeans and Tops'.
In 1987, when the company opened it's 4th store in Huntington Beach, the name had also evolved, and it became known as Tilly's. The July 1987 opening of the Huntington Beach store marked a turning point from which the company began it's expansion throughout Orange, Los Angeles, San Bernardino, San Diego, and Ventura counties.
Today, Tilly's operates more than 30 stores in Southern California.
