About Dr. Jay's

Founded in the mid-1970s by the Betesh family of South Bronx, Dr. Jay's opened in hip-hop's birthplace just as the movement took off.
Brands sold by Dr. Jay's include Enyce, Girbaud, J. Lo, Nike, Phat Farm, and Sean John. Dr. Jay's was founded in 1975 when its first store opened in the Bronx.
